BizGen’s goal is to get the next generation thinking about the future. Their future, the economy they’ll create, and the world we’ll all live in. What characterizes the entrepreneurial spirit? We believe it’s a unique combination of grit, vision and intelligent risk taking. At its core it’s about the willingness to create something of value and the courage to try.

Our future depends on this next generation of entrepreneurs to create economic value, jobs, and a standard of living.

BizGen’s mission is to promote entrepreneurship in young people. We do this through competition, mentorship and support for the ideas that rise to the top. That support is both financial and in-kind to get these ideas off the ground.



UNHInnovation advocates for, manages, and promotes UNH’s intellectual property.  UNHI strives to create partnerships between UNH and the business community and is responsible for licensing UNH technologies and supporting start-up companies based on UNH’s innovations. UNHInnovation also hosts the InterOperability Laboratory and the NH Innovation Research Center (NHIRC).



Created in 2015, the UNH Peter T. Paul Entrepreneurship Center (ECenter) is the co-curricular entrepreneurial hub on campus where students, faculty, staff, researchers and alumni embrace all things around ideas, innovation and entrepreneurship.  It is independent of any one college with the goal to develop a collaborative culture.  It includes the Alpha Loft at the ECenter and soon to be opened Makerspace at the ECenter.

Located in Seacoast New Hampshire’s thriving business community, the University of New Hampshire and the Peter T. Paul School of Business and Economics attract a wide range of students, faculty and business leaders. Through sponsorship of BizGen, the University of New Hampshire is able to raise the profile of its brand among high school students demonstrating interest in business and a desire to learn while reinforcing its commitment to education at all levels.
